3 Panthers attend national underclassmen combine
ATLANTA — Jonathan BAttle, Uneik Crumbley and Kyle Champion, three Americus-Sumter rising juniors, recently participated in the National Underclassmen Ultimate 100 Combine Camp sponsored by Rivals.com in Atlanta.
Over 200 Top Football Athletes from Georgia and surrounding states qualified for the Invite Only Ultimate 100 Camp based on their performance at the regional NUC events held earlier this year.
Athletes were showcased in testing events including the 40-yard dash, pro agility shuttle, bench press, broad and vertical jumps, as well as skill position camps, one-on-one and seven-on-seven competitions.
Battle was named Defensive Lineman MVP/Strongest Man, and Champion was named Tight End MVP. All three have qualified for Rivals.com’s Ultimate 100 Top Prospect Camp which will be held in Oklahoma in July.
