South Georgia Tech Lady Jets extend win streak to 9
The South Georgia Technical College Lady Jets won their 9th consecutive game in convincing fashion on Thursday night by hammering the Central Georgia Technical College Cougars 82-45 at the Hanger in Americus. The Lady Jets stormed to a 49-19 first half lead, thanks in large part to freshman Shanique Holston who led all first half scorers with 10 points. Shontae McCall also bolstered the Lady Jets in the first half by pulling down 7 rebounds and fellow sophomore Inna Leja added 8 points as well to send the Jet’s into the locker room with a very comfortable lead.
