ELLAVILLE — Schley County Middle/High School is participating in the Relay for Life this year. Many wonderful things are planned for the Relay for Life team to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
The first endeavor will take place on Friday, Feb. 5th when Schley County will have “Pink Out” Cancer Night at the basketball game. Organizers encourage all people in the community to attend and support the Wildcats, as well as Relay for Life. A percentage of the gate proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life. They are also encouraging all people, young and old, to attend the game, wear pink shirts and/or outfits, and support Relay for Life.
They wants to “pink out” cancer for good. Game time is 6 p.m.
