There’s still time to register for South Georgia Tech’s online eight-week summer semester

AMERICUS – It’s not too late to make your summer count by enrolling in South Georgia Technical College’s (SGTC) online eight-week summer semester. Classes begin Thursday, May 27, but the college is still accepting applications. This is a great way to make your summer count! The online application fee and placement test requirements have been waived for admission during the Coronavirus outbreak. SGTC also provides the use of textbooks at no cost to students.
Over 450 classes are being offered in an online or distance learning option for the eight-week semester. SGTC is also offering 18 general core courses including English, Psychology, Literature, College Algebra, Economics, Art and Music Appreciation, Political Science and History classes. The college also offers a number of online services, including academic counseling and tutoring that will help students navigate summer semester. The financial aid application can be completed online, but assistance is only an email or phone call away for students with questions.
