Panthers fall to Doge County in hard-fought battle

EASTMAN, GA – The Sumter County Panthers (SCHS) traveled to Eastman, GA on Saturday with hopes of earning a region victory over Dodge County (DCHS). Unfortunately for SCHS, though they fought extremely hard, they came up short against the Indians, losing by the score of 65-61.

Anthony Tyson led the Panthers in scoring with 16 points and both Braylon Terry and Austin Davis each poured in 14 points in the losing cause.

The Panthers (4-11, 1-2 AA Region 1) will try to get back into the win column when they host Worth County in another Region 1-AA match up. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
