Sumter County Schools to Host Bookmark Competition

Read Across America Week will be celebrated in Sumter County Schools (SCS) from March 3-7, 2025. As part of the celebration, SCS will be hosting a district-wide bookmark design competition. All students and staff members are encouraged to participate by designing a bookmark to “promote reading.” A top student and staff member winner will be selected from each school. The student designs of the school winners will be printed for district-wide distribution and the students will be recognized at the school board meeting. The deadline to submit bookmark designs is Friday, March 7, 2025.
