A second protest over Trump’s administration, focusing on cuts to programs such as Social Security and the Department of Education, was held on April 5. A previous demonstration was held on March 8.

Protestors in the April demonstration held a variety of signs, from Dodge Doge, to Hand’s off our Democracy, and Stop Dismantling our Government. Several protestors waved American flags.

Pat Turner was one of the organizers. She stated she was part of Sumter Speaks, which is an Indivisible Group.
