Peggy Fowler Scott

Peggy Fowler Scott, age 74, of Cobb, Georgia, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2025 at Sunnyside Cemetery.

Born in Sylvester, Georgia, Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Will H. Fowler and the late Cleo Pitts Fowler. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Willard Fowler.

After a long and successful career in production control at Harris Press spanning 55 years, Peggy retired. She took great pride in her work but found the most joy in spending time with her cherished granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband Charles Scott of Cobb; her children Lindsay Scott of Black Mountain, NC and Megan Scott Lamonica, and her husband Michael, of Smyrna, Georgia; her siblings Janice Hendricks and Steve Fowler both of Yulee, Fla., and her precious granddaughter Lennon Lamonica.
