SCFR was dispatched at 12:55 pm to 663 Flintside Drive, at Lake Blackshear, for a possible structure fire with unknown occupants. Engine 41 personnel arrived on scene at 1:04 am and reported a single-story structure which was completely involved in flames. Crisp County Fire Dept also arrived on scene per automatic mutual aid. It was determined that the fire suppression mode would be a defensive fire operation. Two 1&3/4 inch attack lines were pulled and fire suppression operations were initiated. Water supply was established via fire hydrant. Homeowners were contacted and informed SCFR that no one was in the structure. Engine 61 arrived on scene at 1:45 am. The fire was reported under control at 2:05 am. The fire was reported extinguished at 4:09 and overhaul operations continued until 5:30 am. Command was terminated at 5:56 am with Engine 41 remaining on location to monitor the scene and all other back in service.
