Sumter County Primary School

Excitement filled the air as first-grade students from Sumter County Primary School competed in the annual Math Bowl, showcasing their problem-solving skills and love for numbers. The competition challenged young mathematicians with a series of addition, subtraction, and word problems.

After an intense final round, two students emerged as champions, taking home the top prizes Aden Livengood and Albert Mitchell impressed judges with their quick thinking and accuracy, earning well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performance.

We are incredibly proud of all our students for their hard work and enthusiasm. This event fosters a love for math and builds confidence in our young learners. The Math Bowl not only celebrated academic excellence but also encouraged teamwork and perseverance, leaving students eager for next year’s math competition. Students competing also enjoyed various pies in a pre-celebration for March 14, 2025 (PIE Day).
