Shipp Chapel Baptist Church
A gospel benefit concert for the church musician, Freddie Mann Jr. is at 3 p.m. Dec. 6 with several musical groups performing. The public and all surrounding churches are invited.
Five Fold Deliverance Ministry
A Fall Revival is at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28-30 at (Word of Faith Ministry) 322 Forrest St. Apostle Norman Pickett is speaker nightly. The public is invited.
Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church
Harvest Day is observed at 3 p.m. Nov. 8. Guest speaker is retired Elder Karl Colquitt of Americus. Music is by Leonard Tyson and Trellis Barthell. Theme is “The Harvest is Evidence of God’s Goodness.” The public is invited.
Old Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The annual Missionary Program is at 11 a.m. Nov. 15 during the worship service. Guest speaker is Sister Kimberly Page of New Hope A.M.E. Church. Everyone is invited.
United Holiness Church
Hallelujah Night is from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 29 at 901 Aaron Snipes Sr. Drive featuring skits, dances and a trunk or treat for the kids. Everyone is welcome.

The annual Ushers’ Fellowship program is celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Everyone is invited.

Mount Carmel Baptist Church
The 175th Homecoming service is Sunday. This special day starts at 10 a.m. with gospel singing by Calvary’s Cross from Americus/Sumter County area. There will be a brief intermission before the 11 a.m. worship service with guest speaker, the Rev. Tommy Fountain, pastor, Grace Baptist Church, Winder (formerly of Columbus and Marion County). A covered dish lunch in the dining hall follows, followed by more gospel singing from Calvary’s Cross. Theme is “Through the Years-generations of Family and Friends.” The community is welcomed.
Revival services are at 7 p.m. Oct. 26-28 with special music each night. Guest speaker is local pastor, Brother Mike McGlaun. All are welcome.
