According to the the National Weather Service, a flood watch has been issued for north and central Georgia until 7 a.m. Friday.

The multiple rounds of rain could measure 3 to 5 inches which could result in flooding of creeks, small streams and rivers due to excessive runoff and already saturated grounds, also temporary urban and street flooding will occur due to  poor  drainage and clogged storm drains.
