AMERICUS — Eastside Baptist Church hosts a revival beginning at 11 a.m. Jan. 10, and continuing at 7 p.m. Jan. 10-13.
The revival speaker is Scott Newton Smith who has been traveling in the itinerant preaching ministry for over 20 years.
Smith speaks to thousands every year on topics relevant to leaping forward in the effectiveness as followers of Christ, as well as clear presentations of the message of Christ and the Gospel.
He has preached to hundreds of thousands over the last decade alone throughout the Eastern United States and in countries overseas.
Smith is president of SNS Ministries Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to not only spreading the Gospel here in America , but also specifically reaching Muslin children in Bangladesh as well as fighting human trafficking here in the U.S.
He also consults on a regular basis with the Georgia Baptist Convention in the area of evangelism and Internet outreach strategies.
