• Firefighters responded to 56 calls for medical assistance.
• Firefighters responded to a dumpster fire on Industrial Boulevard.
• Firefighters conducted smoke detector detail on Mayo Street.
• Firefighters responded to a structure fire on East Forsyth Street. They found heavy smoke and fire in the front living area fro an electrical outlet.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on East Lamar Street.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at Mayo and Ashby streets.
• Firefighters responded to a dumpster fire on Waitsman Drive.
• Firefighters responded to a report of a gas odor on Pecan Drive. They discovered a faulty pilot light in the fireplace.
• Firefighters responded to a water leak on South Lee Street. They shut off the water a faulty valve.
• Firefighters responded to East Lamar Street to a possible gas leak. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to an open hydrant report on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident on East Lamar Street.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm on Habitat Street where they were advised it was a broken pull station.
• Firefighters responded to North Lee and Prince streets to a report of power line down. They found cable lines that had been down a couple of weeks that the cable company had been working on.
• Firefighters responded to a sprinkler activation on Swett Avenue. No hazards were found.
• Firefighters responded to a traffic accident at South Lee Street and Rose Avenue.
• Firefighters responded to a report of a gas odor inside a residence on Columbia Avenue. They found cleaning solvents used to clean paint brushes earlier in the day to be the source of the odor.
• Firefighters responded to Peachtree Street where a pickup truck has driven into a house. No one in the vehicle or the residence.
• Firefighters responded to an alarm at the Windsor Hotel, 125 W. Lamar St. Hotel personnel advised someone had pulled the alarm and that everything was fine.
• Firefighters responded to Davenport Street to a report of a possible structure fire. The occupant had extinguished a fire inside a microwave oven.
