AMERICUS — Balloting is now open for the 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards, brought to you by your hometown newspaper — the Americus Times-Recorder.
This is a way to let area people and businesses know you recognize the great job they’re doing.
The ballot allows you to tell us who you want to win this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards. By casting your vote, you are automatically entered for a chance to win a $250 gift certificate to a winning business of your choice.
The Times-Recorder will publish the ballot and on its website www.americustimesrecorder.com through July 16. Deadline for ballots is 5 p.m. Monday, July 18. Readers can mail ballots to Readers’ Choice, P.O. Box 1247, Americus GA 31709, fill out online on the website, or drop off at the newspaper office.
The only rules are that respondents must submit a minimum of 10 categories for votes to be accepted, and only the ballots in the newspaper or online will be accepted. Photocopies are ineligible.
Make sure to fill out your ballot to give recognition to those businesses/people you appreciate. And, you have a chance to win a $250 gift certificate!
Winners will be featured in a special publication when the contest has concluded.
