Tim Decker, speed painter, to appear in Plains

PLAINS — Prepare to be amazed as world-renowned speed painter Tim Decker dazzles Plains Saturday, hosted by Friends of the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site.
Decker whips up masterpieces of celebrity and patriotic portraits in front of a live crowd in just minutes. Each painting takes roughly 4-7 minutes. The whole experience is set to music.
Tickets are $25, which includes a cocktail party at the Plains Inn and Antique Mall downtown at 6 p.m. and the show at 7 p.m. at Plains High School auditorium.
Call for tickets in advance; they will be ready for pickup on Saturday.
Decker’s high-energy show is an amazing experience as he combines music, art, humor and audience participation to create a performance that event goers will talk about long after it’s over.
His performances have included corporate, charity and private events nationwide. He has appeared on TV dozens of times and his work has been seen by some of the biggest celebrities and companies in the world. He has paintings hanging in 27 countries.
