AMERICUS — Georgia Southwestern State University held its Spring 2016 Honors and Recognition Ceremony April 25 in Jackson Hall to recognize its best and brightest graduating seniors with annual Student Excellence Awards.
Students were honored within their majors for outstanding academic performance at the ceremony.
Caitlin Segroves Daglis of Americus received the Outstanding Visual Arts Graduate Award.
Brandon Loper of Americus received the Dramatic Arts Star Award.
Matthew R. Ingle of Plains received the Outstanding Service to the School of Computing and Math Award.
Molly M. Taunton of Americus received the Outstanding Early Childhood Student Teacher Candidate Award.
Rob T. Rush of Americus received the Leadership in Exercise Science and Wellness Award.
Carleen Wise of Plains received the Outstanding Business Graduate Award – online.
