H attie Thornton of Americus announces the engagement of her daughter, Sharranda Michelle Reese, to Marcus Williamson, son of Johnny B. Williamson and Annie Kate Williamson of Ellaville. She is also the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Morris Reese of Americus.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Annie Smith of Americus, Kary Thornton Jr. of Buena Vista, and the late Wallace and Jewel Reese, both of Americus.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Clarence and Hattie Perkins and the late Ed and Janie Williamson, all of Ellaville.
The wedding is planned for 3 p.m. Sept. 10, 2018, at Christian Outreach Church, Americus.
