PLAINS — It takes a lot of hard work to be a part of the national Boys & Girls Club of America — the parent organization that provides support and resources for local clubs.
From surveys and reports to site visits and audits, the Boys & Girls Club of America ensures that its programs are reaching the youth that need it the most and is effective in its delivery.
The Boys & Girls Club of Americus/Sumter County is no exception and its Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter unit received a recent visit from the GA State Alliance and was audited.
Luckily, with the great staff and support for that unit, it received a stellar grade on its visit. This grade serves as affirmation for parents and guardians. They now know that the club is open and ready to help make a difference in the lives of the youth that it serves.
