MACON — Cullen Ray English, age 24, of Andersonville, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at Navicent Health in Macon. He was born Nov. 30, 1992, in Americus to Kenneth Ray English and Lisa Middleton Smith. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and loved being with his family and friends. He was employed with Flint River Logging.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellaville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at Greg Hancock Funeral Chapel.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Penny English of Andersonville, and Lisa and Chip Smith of Andersonville; sister and brother-in-law, Brooke and Colby Britt of Americus; three stepsisters: Ashley and Adam Saint of Americus, Laurel and Colby Eason of Americus, and Mackenzie Smith of Americus; a stepbrother, Chad Smith of Americus; nephew, Hudson Britt of Americus; and his girlfriend, Lauren Hughes of Andersonville. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Jackie English of Andersonville; paternal great-grandmother, Elizabeth English of Andersonville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Curtis English; and maternal grandparents, Courtland Ray Middleton and Barbara Middleton.
