On Jan. 28, the Americus-Sumter County Middle School (ASCMS) Panthers and Lady Panthers captured a pair of Deep South Conference championship victories at the ASCMS gymnasium in Americus. The middle school boys’ team took their championship victory over their Crisp County counterparts after the ASCMS ladies earned their championship win over Ben Hill County.
