ATHENS —  Caroline Lyman-Barner of Americus has been awarded academic honors for the recently completed spring semester at Piedmont College after completing the semester with a grade-point-average of 3.5 to 3.99 out of a possible 4.0.
One of the most dynamic small colleges in the Southeast, Piedmont is an independent liberal arts college of more than 2,200 students.
