MARIETTA — Teresa Ann “Terri” Donnelly, age 60 of Marietta, died suddenly on July 8, 2017, after a brief illness. She was a native of Toledo, Ohio. Terri graduated from West Bloomfield Hills High School and received her bachelor of science in nursing from Samford University. Terri worked in nursing for Sunrise Assisted Living and was a member at Mount Bethel United Methodist Church. She was awarded the first Champion of Quality Care in 2013, from Sunrise Senior Living. She had a passion for caring for people as well as her four children and three grandchildren. Terri gave the most on July 8, 2017, when all medical care failed to help her; she helped others by donating her organs and gave the gift of life. Terri is survived by children: Amy (Bryan) Hamrick, Jennifer Donnelly, Stefanie (Curtis) Dyer and Brian Donnelly; grandchildren: Blake and William Dyer and Hadley Hamrick; brothers and sisters: Dee (Kirk) Dillon, Tim (Jenni) Westhoven, Douglas (Robert Oliver) Westhoven, Amy (Malcolm) Prewitt, David (Gail) Westhoven and Mark (Lori) Westhoven. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 13 at in the sanctuary of Mount Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steven Brumbeloe officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 12 at H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Directors, Canton Hill.
