Sumter County Intermediate School held a food drive last week. The students were asked to bring any non-perishable items that may be extra in their pantries. Marlin Foster’s group, the Leggos (Leadership through Education under Greek Organizations), helped collect all the canned goods and to load them on the trailer. The school was able to collect a trailer full of donations to help families in need. They items were taken to the Harvest of Hope Food Pantry.
