AMERICUS – The Georgia Independent High School Association (GISA) hosted the 2017 All-Star Football Game at Southland Academy’s Harvey Simpson Field in Americus on Dec. 1.
The Southland Academy Raiders were represented on the field by six players.
Southland’s team members tapped to participate in the game were offensive lineman Stephen Barnes, wide receiver Saige Batten, running back Townsend Ray, quarterback Alex Roach, running back Brody Shattles, and tight end Morgan Youngdale.
