LESLIE — Mr. Billy Ray Tissue Sr., age 76, of Leslie, passed away Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Frank Hughes will officiate. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27 at Aldridge Funeral Services.

Mr. Tissue was born Sept. 26, 1941, in Leslie, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Isaac Tissue and the late Lucy Francis Melton Tissue. He was a graduate of Union High School, Leslie, Ga., class of 1959.  He was a retired, self-employed painter and worked for the Leslie City water department for 46 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mr. Tissue is survived by his wife Patricia Louise Bailey Tissue; three sons and daughter-in-law, Billy Ray Tissue Jr. (Donna) of Leslie, James Robert Tissue of Leslie and Patrick Bailey Tissue of Leslie; two nieces Diane Odom of Warwick and Sandy Bishop of Macon. A nephew Arthur Tissue of Cordele, and a grandson Kody Ray Tissue of Leslie also survive.
