Visitors with former relatives visit Ellaville
I received a phone call about two weeks ago from Nan McPherson of Pelham. She had found out about the local historical society and wanted to come and research the history of her family. She and her daughter Betsy McPherson drove from Pelham and met me at the Schley County Courthouse. We talked awhile about their relatives and then toured the courthouse.
After discussing the history of the city and county they visited  the Clerk of Court’s Office in the Schley County Government Center to see Cathy Royal.
Nan McPherson is planning to donate some photos to the Ellaville-Schley County Historical Society.
