Senior Picnic draws hundreds

The popular Senior Picnic hosted each year by the Middle Flint Council of Aging in Americus draws seniors from a multi-county area for a fun day of food and entertainment. This year there were 966 seniors present, along with members of the Americus Fire & Emergency Services, Sumter County Fire & Rescue, Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, Americus Police Department, and COA staff.
