AMERICUS – They put in the hours of hard training, running in both hilly and flat terrain. The training, discipline and leadership shown by these members of the 2018 Furlow Charter Middle School Cross Country Team has earned them the respect of the teammates and coaches. Mitch Herron, Georgia Eberhart, Vanesa Aguirre and Edwin Gonzalez have all been elected captains of the middle school cross country team. Congratulations to all four of these student-athletes for this tremendous honor.
