AMERICUS — Early voting was conducted Saturday, and at the closing of the polls for the day, 327 voters had cast their ballots. With Saturday’s totals added, 3,608 ballots had been cast by Absentee in Person Voters. The numbers bring the percentage of participation up to about 21 percent, with three more days in the Early Voting Period. Polls will be open at the Courthouse from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Voters are required to present photo ID to cast their ballot.
The election is Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
