AMERICUS
Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church
The Eastern District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church holds its Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 3 p.m. Jan. 2o with the Rev. Earnest Gordon of St. Paul A.M.E. Church as speaker. The youth group is in charge of the service. Minister Trenton Floyd of Old Antioch Baptist Church brings the occasion, and Union Tabernacle Baptist Church Youth Choir provides the music. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome.
New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church
The 57th Usher Anniversary is celebrated at 4 p.m. Feb. 10 with Sister Hattie Ferguson of Old Corinth Missionary Baptist Church as speaker.
Healing Temple Ministries
The 13th church anniversary is observed at 4 p.m. Jan. 20 with The Anointed Voices of Americus. There will be several local and out of town groups n the program. With special guest group, Sisters in Christ from Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Eastside Baptist Church
Renowned speaker David Ring is featured at 6 p.m. Jan. 27 for a One Night Rally. This is a free event. A love offering will be taken.

Union Oak Grove Baptist
The Pastor’s Anniversary is celebrated at 2 p.m. Jan. 27. Speaker is Pastor George Monts along with the Zion Hope Baptist Church family.
ELLAVILLE
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
The public is invited to the annual Youth Revival at 7 p.m. Jan. 29 and 30. On Tuesday night, Minister Travis Rush and Spring Creek Baptist Church are in charge of the service, with music by Spring Creek Choir. On Wednesday night, Minister LaSondra Swain and Freedom Harvest Worship Center are in charge with music by Freedom Harvest Choir.
Shema Church

Big Bethel Baptist Church
The annual Men & Women’s Day is observed during the 11 a.m. worship service Jan. 27 with the sermon by the Rev Lachery Powell of Albany. Colors are black and white.
Jackson Grove Baptist Church
The ushers anniversary is celebrated at 2 p.m. Jan. 20 with Pastor Glenn Bryant of County Line Baptist Church, Greater New Lebanon, and Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, Oglethrope, as speaker.

Freedom Harvest Worship Center
A Community Wide Prayer Brunch begins at 10 a.m. Jan. 26 when Pastor Horace Holloway is guest speaker. All churches in the community are invited.
Women Deliverance Ministry
The Walking in Love Banquet starts at 6 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Leslie Civic Center. Speakers are Minister Larry Lee Milledge, CEO of Gladiator Instructional Services and founder of #youaintaverage, and Pastor Krystal Heath of Believe Covenant Deliverance Ministries and Temple of Deliverance & Refuge. Tickets are $20/singles and $30/couples.
St. John Baptist Church
The Senior Choir celebrates 55th anniversary at 3 p.m. Jan. 20. Everyone is welcome.
