AMERICUS — The following food service inspections were conducted recently by the Sumter County Health Department.
• Route 19 House of Dogs, 913 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Americus; observed no Employee Reporting Agreements signed by the individuals that work at the establishment. Person in charge is to have every person who hands the food sign a copy of the agreement. Signed copies need to be kept on site and made available during future inspections; observed no written cleanup procedure in the event of a vomiting or diarrheal incident. Person in charge is to have a cleanup procedure on site and make the procedure available during future inspections; observed a missing bolt in the ice machine and rust-like coloration around the bolts that are in place. Person in charge is to have missing bolt replaced and clean the inside of the machine; observed that the establishment did not have a choking poster. Person in charge is to have a choking poster on display in the establishment; observed that the establishment did not have sanitizer test strips on site. Person in charge is to provide test strips for all sanitizing solutions; observed the women’s restroom door is not self closing. Person in charge is to have the door rendered self closing; observed raw wood behind the drink counter.
