Participating through the Town & Country Garden Club of Leslie, Southland Academy fourth-grade students recently entered the Smokey Bear & Woodsy Owl Poster Contest with the National Garden Clubs. Congratulations to Emory Webb who won first place in State Competition, and her artwork will be submitted to the Deep South level competition. Along with Emory, Asa Baldwin and Evelyn Fletcher are District and Region winners. Other region winners are Brooks Potter, Nikki Remellino, and Braylee Campbell.
