Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) recently shared the Hurricane spirit with the Southland Academy Raiders. To help tip off the basketball games between the GSW and Lander University in the Storm Dome, Southland students, faculty, and families enjoyed the GSW women’s and men’s basketball games. Southland first grader Hunter Elizabeth Boren, second grader Sara Lane Fussell, and fifth grader Luke McKie, were very excited to present the game balls to the referees at the start of the games. Southland night in the Storm Dome was another fun-filled community event. Thanks to GSW for hosting Southland Night!
