Local citizens will have the opportunity to receive a free flu shot on Friday at the Sumter Faith Clinic between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. For the third year, the Rotary Club of Americus is sponsoring this event by offering up to 300 free influenza virus vaccinations to local citizens. Collaborating with the Rotary Club to host this event are the Sumter Faith Clinic, nursing students from the South Georgia Technical College, After Hours Clinic and Americus’ own Thurston Clary of WISK-WDEC, who will host a live remote broadcast at the Clinic location that day.
