ELLAVILLE – The Schley County Varsity Football Team had another successful season. They went 13-1 and made it all the way to the GHSA Class A Division 2 state semifinals. This week, the 2023 Region 6A All Region Team was named and several Wildcats are on that team. Here are the Wildcats who made the 2023 Region 6A All Region Team:

 

Coach of the Year: Darren Alford

 

Region Player of the Year: Jay Kanazawa

 

Offensive Player of the Year: JaLewis Solomon

 

Defensive Player of the Year: Jack Clark

 

Offensive Line First Team: Wyatt Halstead

 

Second Team: Gus Harris

 

Honorable Mention: Hank Arrington, Brock Belcher

 

Receivers     First Team: Carson Westbrook

Second Team: Kendall Sims
