Americus police officers responded to a welfare check on June 16th at around 9:52 A.M. in the 100 block of Apple Blossom Lane, discovering two deceased. A man, Clyde Neal Anthony age 72, and a woman, Connie C. Anthony aged 68, had gun shot wounds. Police are asking anyone with information to call the Americus Police Department at 229-924-3677 during business hours or 229-937-9011 after business hours.
