In the 11u game, the first half was a low-scoring but hard-fought half. Late in the first half, Kansas led 14-9, but the Tigers went on an 8-0 run that included a long two-pointer by Lakista McCuller and a three-pointer by Tristan Walton.

However, late in the third quarter, the 11u Jayhawks went on an 8-0 run to take a 28-20 lead. They would then use their pressure defense to force turnovers and would go on a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter. That run would effectively seal the game for Kansas and they would go on to win by the score of 42-30.

Steven Kearse led the 11u Kansas team in scoring with 17 points and Broderick Berry scored 12.
