Jerry  Bradford “Brad” English, age 69 of Plains, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Lillian G. Carter Health and Rehab in Plains, GA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 in the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services.  Rev. Matt Johnson will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, GA.

The family will greet friends on Friday, July 12th at Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Jerry Bradford “Brad” English was born August 15, 1954 in Americus, GA.  He was the son of the late Richard Neal English and the late Evelyn Fowler English.  He was retired from Jones Automatic Sprinklers, where he worked as a pipe fitter. Brad was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Bradford English (Amanda) of Ellaville and Brandon Keith English (Natalie) of Ellaville; a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Taylor (Wesley) of Buena Vista, and a brother and sister-in-law, Rick English (Norma) of Plains. Brad is also survived by five grandchildren, Jordan English Howard (Ryan), Madelyn English, Brennan English, Payton English, Paxton English and a great grandson, Kason Howard. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, Brad was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Maria Jackson English.
