Americus Police officers were dispatched on August 21st at around 9:10 pm after reports of a shooting at the 200 block of Brookdale Drive. When they arrived, officers found Kenyon Rasheed Williams, a 19-year-old from Americus, with gunshot wounds. They provided first aid until EMS arrived and brought Williams to the hospital.
