Shots fired at local residence AMERICUS — The Americus Police Department is soliciting the public’s help in identifying two suspects who fired shots at a residence in the 300 block of Ashby Street in Americus. Officers responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 11:56 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17. A security camera at the residence captured the image of two suspects approaching the home on foot and fired multiple shots at the residence. No one was injured in the incident. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Americus Police Department Anonymous Tip Line at 229-924-4102 or the Criminal Investigations Division at 229-924-4550. The suspects are visible in the upper right portion of this still frame.
