It is not unusual to see Nancy Smith on the Southland Academy campus. A graduate of Southland, Nancy Cheek Smith was a well-rounded student excelling academically and as an all-star athlete for the Raiders. Currently, she is involved in several parent organizations and attends many Raider events supporting the students but especially her son Adam Smith, who is a junior. Smith helped our students kick off the first Football Friday by reading to the young Raiders. Her Raider spirit is contagious, and the students enjoyed their time with her so much that she read multiple books and promised to return soon.
