Area residents graduate from Mercer University

MACON/ATLANTA — Mercer University conferred bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to nearly 2,200 students representing 12 schools and colleges at four ceremonies during May in Macon and Atlanta.
The following students from Americus graduated.
James Franklin, College of Liberal Arts, bachelor of science; Landon Hobgood, College of Pharmacy, doctor of pharmacy; LeighAnn Holt-Jordan, Tift College of Education, master of arts in teaching; and Mary Melissa Roland, College of Liberal Arts, bachelor of science.
